Roxanna Zea is resigning as executive vice president of group strategy at Nordic telco Tele2 after diverging views on its strategic planning and execution.
The group, which last year sold its Swedish residential cable and fibre operations to further focus on mobile, has yet to decide whether it will keep the position.
It said Zea will be moving on to pursue “entrepreneurial interests”, without giving details.
CEO Mats Granryd said: “I want to thank Roxanna for her many contributions at Tele2 and I wish her the best of luck in her future endeavours.”
Despite planning to strengthen its focus on mobile, Tele2 was the only major player in Norway not to pick up extra 4G frequencies in the country’s latest spectrum auction in December.
Earlier in 2013 the group stripped itself of its Russian operations in a deal worth US$3.55bn.
