Andreas Maierhofer, former CEO of Bulgarian operator Mobitel, has been appointed new CEO of Macedonian operator Makedonski Telekom, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom.
He has also become president and non-executive member of the board of directors of mobile unit T-Mobile Macedonia.
Maierhofer takes over from Thilo Kusch, who had been in the roles since April 2013. It is not known where Kusch is headed to.
Between 2006 and 2007, Maierhofer also served as CEO of Slovenia’s Si.mobil.
