US investment bank Goldman Sachs has appointed George Lee as chairman of its technology, media and telecom (TMT) group, and Dan Dees as TMT co-head, according to internal memos.
Former TMT co-head Lee, who joined Goldman 20 years ago, has also been named as chief information officer for the bank’s investment banking division.
Dees, presently co-head of Goldman’s Asia-Pacific investment banking division and chairman of the financing group in Japan, will take up his new role alongside Anthony Noto.
