T-Mobile Netherlands has named Mark Klein, a Deutsche Telekom senior vice president, as its new interim managing director.
Klein will start his new role on 1 January 2014, replacing Thomas Berlemann who has been MD since early 2012. Berlemann will return to his home country where he has accepted a job outside T-Mobile or its parent company Deutsche Telekom.
Klein will lead the executive committee until a final replacement is found. He started as senior vice president for commercial excellence in Europe for Deutsche Telekom in March 2012. There, he is responsible for the management and development of marketing functions.
Klein is also on T-Mobile Netherlands’ supervisory board but will resign from this position before starting as interim managing director. Previously, he was director of SME and SoHo for Vodafone. He also worked for McKinsey and Company and Arcor (now part of Vodafone Germany).
