Network equipment manufacturer Juniper Networks has appointed Barclays’ former COO and CTO as its new CEO.
Shaygan Kheradpir will take the reins at the US company on 1 January 2014, succeeding Kevin Johnson who is set to retire.
Johnson revealed his plan to step down from his position in July, although he will keep his seat on the board.
Kheradpir had been at Barclays since 2011. Prior to that, he was Verizon Communications’ chief information and technology officer.
