The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has permitted three 3G licence holders to participate in the upcoming auction for the country’s last 3G licence.
Smart Communications, Globe Telecom and Digital Mobile Philippines, which were previously banned from participating, will now enter the fray.
Firms not yet authorised to bid include AZ Communications Network, Multi-Media Telephony, Next Mobile and Pacific Wireless.
